Hi, I’m Sarah McArthur, creator of La Selectica and founder of Costa Rica Vibes, a trusted travel resource for planning unforgettable trips to Costa Rica.

Originally from the U.S., I moved to Costa Rica in 2016 with my husband and have since explored nearly every corner of the country. From remote jungle lodges to beachfront towns to residency appointments in San José, I’ve been through it all.

I’ve also lived in Germany and Denmark, and I’m usually planning my next trip before I’ve even unpacked from the last one.

La Selectica was born from a love of well organized travel and a deep appreciation for life in Costa Rica. This country may be small, but it is filled with so many amazing experiences! I wanted to create a space for travelers, couples, and future expats who value beautiful experiences, smart planning, and meaningful connections.

When I’m not working, I’m probably attempting to cook some new recipe, reading a novel I’ll finish in two sittings, or being a human Shazam while background music plays somewhere.
